Open House to discuss progress and areas of mutual concern and interest |
Each class and section is supervised by a class teacher assigned to respond to pastoral, academic and disciplinary issues. In addition, they monitor the performance of the students in co-ordination with other subject teachers.
Class teachers regularly communicate to parents with appraisals of their child's performance and growth. One such avenue is the open house day that is scheduled after monthly tests. These give parents and teachers an opportunity to meet each other and discuss about the improvement or shortcomings of the students.
Parents may also meet teachers during school hours with prior appointment through the respective supervisors if they wish to discuss areas that need immediate attention.
Supervisors encourage parents to participate in regular group meetings conducted with parents of students from a specific year group/ grade to exchange information and ideas that add value to their child’s growth and education.
